What type of musician are you?
One that's still in the closet.
Give a brief history of yourself:
I was in an a cappella group in college. I've been playing the piano since I was a little kid and have had a complex about my singing since I was told no one wanted to hear my voice in grade school. In high school I played the saxophone in the marching band, but I don't like to talk about that. I picked up the guitar and bass last year after one of my best friends made fun of me for using synth'd sounds on One More Drink.
What is the next goal for Roy?
Learn to be a better guitar player so I can play my own songs the way I intend them to sound in places that don't happen to have pianos. Learn to listen to music a little more carefully. Meet some awesome people around NYC to play with.

What type of gear do you use?
A computer, a guitar (I think an Epiphone... I borrow it from my roommate), a bass (a cheap Yamaha), a MIDI controller keyboard (M-Audio 88es), and some pretty amazing virtual instruments for my piano and drum sounds (all the computer stuff really blows my mind).
