Born and raised in L.A. and Indianapolis, Rich Rosales aka DJ Monarck has had a wide range of musical influences. His talent for mixing 80’s, house and top40 launched him in the ranks as one of Purdue University's top club dj's. But that wasn't enough... Monarck was ready for a fresh scene and new opportunities. Los Angeles came calling, and he answered. A few months upon graduating, he launched his L.A. club career into high gear, DJing at some of the hottest clubs in Hollywood and Orange County. DJ Monarck's passion for incorporating house music to his sets evolved from deep and soulful mixes at the ultra lounges to the pulsating electronic sounds of the Los Angeles afterhours. Monarck could be seen fronting some of the biggest club nights in southern California, eventually transitioning to co-founding MixArmada with fellow DJ's Adjust and Santino. Merely a few months after co-founding it, MixArmada has grown to become one of Southern California's premier DJ groups, spinning regularly at venues such as Boomerang's, Shark Club, Fury and Sutra (considered one of the top 10 ultra lounges in the country by Maxim Magazine) in the likes of celebrities such as Tyson Beckford, Rob Dyrdek and Britney Spears to name a few.
