How do I upload audio?

To upload audio click on the upload tab in the top right of the page. If you are not logged in you will be prompted to do so. First select the category, genre, and tag that matches the type of audio you are uploading. Then click on the browse button under "Step 2" and locate a .mp3 file on your computer. After finding the file select open or double click on it. Finally click the "Upload" button and your upload will begin.

Depending on your file size and connection speed it may take a few minutes to complete so please be patient.

After the upload has finished be sure to tag information so others can easily find your audio when they search for it (if it's public).

Can I add an audio file or playlist to my MySpace profile?

Yes! Simply click on the image and select the "Add to webpage" option. A dialog will appear with a variety of skins to choose will appear. Then select the skin you like and click the copy button on the following screen.

Then login to your MySpace profile, blog, or any other site and paste the code in. On MySpace you can simply paste the code in your "Music" section.

Now you can enjoy your Babulous audio everywhere on the web!

Can I add Babulous to my Facebook profile?

Yes!!! Click the following link to install the Babulous Music application where you can list your recently played tracks.

If you are a music artist we recommend the Artist Application instead.

How do I edit my profile information?

To edit your profile information please make sure you are signed in. To check, click on the "my profile" tab at the top of every page.

On the left side of the profile page below the image there will be a link that says "Edit Profile". Click on the link and an edit form will appear. Make the necessary changes and click the save button.

You can set preferences, upload pictures, and edit your artist information under the different tabs in this section.

Why can't I register?

If you are seeing a message that says "We are sorry but you are not eligible to use this site," it is due to legal restrictions. I If you believe you have received this message in error, please contact us immediately.

It says I'm already registered, but I've never been here before?

Someone could have already entered your email address by accident and therefore created an account for you. In order to correct this problem click on the "forgot your password" link on the registration page and we'll email you the password that was created with your account. Once you login be sure you change your password on your profile page, edit profile link so that others cannot access your account.

Is there a limit to how much I can upload?

No, well actually yes; it's a trick question. When you sign up there is a size limit to your account, however for each person you refer to Babulous we will increase your quota. So should you ever fill up your quota, simply invite a friend to join!

Can I listen to Babulous when I'm not connected to babulous.com?

We stream all of the music to protect the copyrights of the artists.

How can I/my band become a Babulous featured Artist?

The featured artists on the homepage are hand selected by the Babulous staff. The best way to become a featured artist is to be an active member of the Babulous community and someone on our staff will likely notice you.

Why is the Babulous team so good looking?

It's true we probably are the best looking startup team ever assembled, and likely the most modest as well. We work hard to bring you this website and in return we've been blessed with beauty. Thanks for noticing :)
