What type of musician are you?

Im a singer/songwritter who loves to write about life and loves and everything that inspires us to move foward.

Give a brief history of yourself:

I lived in Honduras for all my life and became interested in music since I was a little girl. I started writting song at the aage of 7 and havent stopped since. I also enjoy writting poetry and doing realxing things such as hanging out with my friends or go to the beach.

What is the next goal for anitamachado88?

Try to get a band together and record a record!

Describe your shows visually and musically:

I would say it is very invigorating. I try to focus in making the music speak for itself and create a vibe that makes everyone feel good.

What's your outlook for the recoding industry?

Its way to damn hard... I think to be in it u have to be either amazing or have really good connections... but I cant really say much since im am not personally involved in the music industry.

What are your musical influences?

Alot of classical rock like Zeppelin, AC/DC, Guns N roses, Clapton, Joan jett, Motley Crew, The doors, Pink Floyd and other artists such as Mana, Shakira, Belanova, Basilos, Jarabe de palo, Cafe tacuba, Alejandro Sanz

What are your non musical influences?

I would say this would come more in the lyrics parts.. I am influenced by the culture that sorrounds me, the people who care about me and the experiences (good or bad)that ive gone on through life.

What are your songs are about?

mostly about love and hope, sometimes about memories, about the past and the future, some about politics .. but generally they talk about the lessons I have learned through out my life, how they have changed me or made me feel, or what I have learned from them.

What inspires you to do what you do?

I love music and I love singing, everytime I sing I feel that it is what I am meant to do... so I guess a feeling of passion is that inspires me to write and sing.

Is there any advice that you would give to other musicians?

Try to always portray who u are through out ur music. Tha is what makes an artist unique.
