Give a brief history of yourself:
Love music since little, Performing since 6 years old, aspire to be a music composer at 8, took part in local and national singing competition, & performed at local radio station for children programmes. Learn harmonica at the age of 14, performed at high school events till 16 years old. Join the Chinese Orchestra of Singapore Polytechnic at 17 years old learning instruments such as ErHu and the Cello. Became the first female conductor for that orchestra group. Arrived Perth, Western Australia in 1995, started taking an interest in band performance summer 2002, joined an acoustic band, BlueSky & form another rock band, Rockgoby, when completing a PhD degree in Information Systems, perform actively at local cafes & events. Started songwriting in 2003. Recording of own work in 2004, marketing of the songs in Asia mid-2005, signed as a Song Writer under Universal Music Publishing in 2007.

What's your outlook for the recoding industry?
Great time to be a musician due to the boom on the Internet. Musicians can now reach anyone, anywhere in the world by taking an active approach towards marketing their own work.

Asian, European, Popular, Rock, Jazz, and Instrumental type of music

Personal experience, travels, inner reflection, observation of life and love

Is there any advice that you would give to other musicians?
We are doing what we do because its food for our soul. It drives us, it keeps our passion alive, it puts a smile on our face. Besides we are all a little crazy inside, helps keep us off the street ;)

What are some of your pet peeves?
Being precise, methodical and a complete pain in the ass when it comes to arrangement and performance. Loves working in the middle of the night and wake up no earlier than 10am.
